As consumers begin to take a more active role in their own healthcare, they need quality resources to help them make good decisions. Dean Health Plan (DHP) encourages all hospitals in its network to participate in quality healthcare initiatives. Quality and patient safety data are available through several healthcare organizations. The Wisconsin Hospital Association, www.wha.org, and The Leapfrog Group, www.leapfroggroup.org, are organizations on a state and national level, respectively, that provide hospital quality data.
