Medicare Hints for Our Members

Every month, Dean Health Insurance sends a Medicare questionnaire to members who will be turning age 65. This questionnaire determines if you have Medicare, which includes Medicare Parts A and B, and whether you pay a premium. Dean Health Insurance will then determine if they or Medicare are the primary payor on your claims. This process is called coordinating benefits and will depend on information such as your age, your work status (actively working or retired) and the size of your employer. If you receive this questionnaire, please complete it and return it to Dean Health Insurance in the envelope provided. If no response is received, a second request will be sent.
