Dean Offering Plans for Individuals
Dean Health Plan (DHP) offers five
individual policies, and we will
add more options this summer.
The policies offer the option to
include a drug or a maternity
rider, or to select from several
plans with a variety of deductible
options, including $500, $1,000,
$1,500 or $2,000. Two of our
plans, the Dean $1,500 and the
Dean $2,000, are compatible with
a health savings account (HSA).
These policies appeal to a variety of people, including dependents coming off their parents’ policy, the self-employed and early retirees who need coverage until they reach Medicare eligibility.
We have improved our application process by adding an easy-to-use online quote calculator at www.deancare.com and setting up telephone interviews to help speed up the process.
