Dean Health Plan (DHP) is pleased to offer DeanConnect, a web-based portal where, after entering your user name and password, you can access your personal insurance coverage information. This portal opens a world of online convenience to our members. You will have 24-hour access to:

• Review claims information and status
• Print claims itemizations or Explanations of Benefits (EOBs)
• Order new ID cards
• Check the status of authorizations and referrals
• View benefits coverage, copayment and deductible information
• View pharmacy claims and prescription costs, and calculate pharmacy copayments
• Locate a pharmacy or provider

Anyone who is a DHP member is eligible to register for online access to his or her own information at www.deancare.com. Please note that you will only be able to access your own information. Subscribers may also access information regarding their children younger than age 14. Members older than age 14 on your plan will need to register and obtain their own user name and password due to privacy laws. This can all be done online.

We will send you your user name and password in the mail after you register. After getting this information, go to www.deancare.com and click on “DeanConnect.” You will then be directed to a login page. To ensure confidentiality, DeanConnect will require you to select a new password after your first login. Please keep this password confidential — this is important to the security of your personal information.

DHP is focused on providing you with options for accessing benefits information at times and with methods that are convenient for you — this new tool gives you such access.
